Dreary or what?

With Christmas is well and truly over and all the deccies taken down, I packed them away today. I really hate that part. I don't mind taking them down and leaving them in a pile on the floor but actually packing them away in their boxes and bags and stowing them in the loft is the bit I really hate. I don't even mind the bare look to the rooms, that's almost refreshing, but packing away is the pits. Still it's all done now for another year. Life can get back to normal and so too can our eating habits!

I put away my ornaments and XMas decorations yesterday, and it was quite depressing. My apartment looks a little bare now. It was almost as sad as the garbage day right after the new year - all across the city, everywhere I walked, people had removed the ornaments from their trees and put them on the curb, so I had to dodge many a dejected-looking tree lying on its side.

Uh huh, my eating habits are definitely getting back to normal. My goodness, I was such a glutton!

I know what you mean. I always seem to be in a permanent state of indigestion over Christmas. My body starts crying out for bland food!

I am so happy the holidays are over. I found them really hard this year and I'm not really sure why. I just know I won't be in Paris next Christmas.

That's such a shame. I do think Christmas can be one of the most stressful time of year. any problems that loom up then are far more likely to become major issues than they are at any other time of year. I hope things get back on an even keel for you now it's over.
